ANCHORAGE BIATHLON CLUB
ABC is a development program that supports novice, intermediate, and advanced biathletes as they train for success. Biathlon is a demanding sport that requires both physical fitness and high mental acuity. Biathlon is an individual sport, however we do both individual and group training to help athletes them improve their skills in both skiing and shooting.
ABC's upcoming season will include an all encompassing program where athletes will receive specific coaching on both shooting skills and ski technique. We will have physical training sessions that will focus on strength and agility and others that will involve shooting on the range at Kincaid Park.
Athletes can expect to run, bike, roller-ski for aerobic training during the summer and ski in the Winter. However, ABC’s training program is designed to function as a stand along program, however athletes can participate in tandem with other nordic programs
