HOW TO GET STARTED

3 Steps to get Started with Biathlon!

  1. Attend a Biathlon Rifle Safety Class

  2. Join the United States Biathlon Association (USBA)

  3. Pay Range Fees (annual, seasonal or daily)

 

  1. Biathlon Rifle Safety Classe is required to shoot at the Kincaid Park Biathlon Range.

Classes are held at Kincaid Park Biathlon Range, and cover safe rifle handling, care and use of a biathlon rifle, and basic biathlon technique. Cost: $25 Individual, $30 Family

       2.  Join the United States Biathlon Association (USBA)

​

Joining the United States Biathlon Association is required to shoot at the Kincaid Park Biathlon Range. You can find more information and pay online at USBA’s website here.

You may also download the membership form below and send it to USBA or fill out the form and turn it into a coach or range safety officer at the range. Once the form and payment is received, you’ll receive a USBA membership card.Bring the card with you every time you visit the range as RSOs (Range Safety Officers) will request to see it.

      3.  Pay Range Fees (annual, seasonal or daily)

Maintaining the range and hosting events are supported by range use fees. You may pay the daily, seasonal or annual range use fee.

Single Use: $15/day

Annual: Individual $175, Family $300 (2 people) 

Spring-Summer (Apr-Sept): Prorate, check on NSAA site 

Rifle use from NSAA $100/year

 

Range Use Cards must be brought with you every time you visit the range as RSOs will request to see it. NSAA will provide you with a waterproof plastic holder to secure your range use card and USBA card.
